Did he raise the pulley size to lower PSI? I know a lot of guys do that with the 3.4 Whipple that even bother running it on the street because its just too much power. 700rwhp with all that just doesn't add up. The 3.4 alone should be putting down close to 700 with the stock 3.5 (?) pulley

your right the 3.4l whipple makes about the same as the kenne bell 2.8h which is about 600-640rwhp depending on tuning

If someone is a stock ls1 F body tried to race my 9 second Cobra right now, I would get yanked out of the hole by bus lengths and probably not be able to catch him (18" street tires FTMFL). I could not even do a third gear roll without INSTANTLY hitting the rev limiter when I nail it. These threads are the reason that I usually have slicks on my car at all times.
The average driver in a pullied Cobra runs 12 flat (Although, I have seen full weight pullied Cobras run low 11s)
Either way, Good Kill!
BTW his Combo (KB2.8, cams, built engine) has the potential to go low nines with the right supporting mods (suspension, fuel system, 26-28psi, race gas tune) and a little weight reduction.

true i beat the driver, but i race is a race. dead stops realy tell how the car moves. also before i went to a auto, i was running t-56, ms4, & spray. i was pulling on pulley full exhaust cobras from rolls. ill post up the video of me and a ported blower cobra. will post up the video. remeber cam only.

I agree! A race is a race. If a 200hp car beats a 1000hp car that doesn't mean it's a faster car, it means it won the race! And that's one of the best feelings in the world! That's why I LOVE the street!!!

dam cant find the video on you tube. but yeah we have a all motor pass & two on the bottle. its was on the 150 wet. on the second run i was on low bottle presure.
