Default SS vs. Suzuki 500cc bike

so i have friend who has a new suzuki 500 bike idk what model or whatever but it i know its a 500...anyways we were bored one day so we decide to go run them a few times i figured i would get killed but to my suprise i didnt i actualy pulled at least two cars everytime! we did digs and rolls at every speed...I dont know if he just cant shift that well yet or what (he only had it a month) but anyways i shut him up pretty fast when i beat him hahaha!

those things are pigs...raced my buddies built/blown 96 cobra from highway rolls and he was right with us up to about 140 on full modded gsxr 600's...such a fun night

I'm guessing its a gs500. If so the newer ones are rated at 51 horsepower @ 9500 rpm and 30 lb-ft of tq @ 7500 rpm

Yah that model might be good for a 13.9 in the 1/4 if there lucky.

haha. no ****. i just got an 06 gs500f and would not even bother racing with it. it can get up but when you look at the hp/tq numbers, you should know that these are not race bikes. 600's are about double the hp and a lot more torque.

OMG! My Hog 80hp TC88 CAN beat 250 and 500s! Wow, and I thought I was slow!

They may be dogs, but i'd much rather someone be learning on that bike, than on something that puts them into a telephone pole faster than they can blink....
