Finally ran a Mach 1 So i was at the local hangout friday and this group of 2 mustangs and 2 camaros pulled up. ive never seen them before so i figured id go see what was up with them. One was a 99 gt and the other was a 03 mach1 i believe. I asked the mach 1 what he had done and he said intake, exhaust and full steeda suspension. I was like well hed be the best race for me so i asked if he wanted to race and he said sure. I have a 99 z28 with a lid and catback m6. He said he beat one of the z28 camaros on the way up there by 4 cars so i figured id show him whats up lol. So we agree to do a 45 roll which is my best and he said was good for him to. So we line up and i honk it off and we are pretty much dead even through 2nd but as soon as i banged 3rd i started to pull pretty hard but he missed 3rd so he said lets go again. We line up 1 more time and do the same roll. I honk it off and we go. I pulled like maybe a foot or 2 in 2nd and hit 3rd and pull like 3/4 to a full car and mid way through 4th i had him by 2 cars. When we got back he didnt really say a whole lot just that my car ran good and i said the same. All in all it was a fun 1st race with a mach 1

Yeah thats what everybody was saying but im not to scared cause i should b gettin my longtubes soon n ill make sure we run til bout 120 or so lol

Yeah, good kill... if it were me I would have done the 45mph roll and a dig race, but my guess is he was cocky enough to think he had you covered from a roll. That was his downfall.

Okay, what the hell, good kill to the OP. What kind of mods do you have? I've raced a trainload of LSx cars, Camaro's, Firebirds, GTO's, and Corvettes, won some, lost a few, and I still haven't seen this wicked 3rd gear pull you guys keep talking about!

I only have a cat-back and a lid. I would have done a dig if he wanted to but he said he wanted a roll and thats better for me so i didnt ask for a dig haha. The funny part about the mach 1 beating that camaro by 4 cars was that the kid with the camaro admitted getting beat by 4 cars. It was an aout but he still shouldnt have been beaten that bad. When they said that i thought they where messing with me n i was gna get beat bad but i figured what the hell mite as well lol
