Default ZO6 Kill

I was cracking some ricer's that kept trying to do a fly-by on me and I seen a millenium-yellow ZO6 turn on behind me. He steps up and rev's so I downshifted to 2nd and exchanged some rev's. He goes and I was already at the top of 2nd, hit 3rd pulled about a car and into fourth pulled maybe another and I let off cause the road was crappy.
He honks and waves and we just went about cruising. Hit the turn around and so did he. Ends up we both overshot our streets just to play. lol We got out and talked a bit. He was inpressed and so was I, ZO6's are sweet *** cars. Turns out he was just showing his dad his new 2003 ZO6, very cool guys.

Blaine and Tony (?), I hope I have the names right. Nice meeting you guys and very nice car you have there.

Peace,
Craig.

Good Kill man, stockers even one like the allmighty Z06 (Best 13.0 1/4) are easy kills for modded Z's and T/A's.
I killed a couple of them at the track, not all of them have cool owners though. Some are bitter after a kill as most 'vet drivers put us in a lesser category. Boy are they wrong.

Thanks guys!

Hybrid Slow- Right off the bat he was like "What do have in that damn thing?" (Or something close to that) I said heads, cam, and 12-bolt w/4.10s. Then I told him that I had to do something to hang with them ZO6's.

Good kill. I love to mess with vettes on the highway. I always give a regular stocker a good run (tie or win). I am not in Z06 territory.... yet.

Z06's are not easy prey for lightly modded F-bodies. IT took a car with 100 rwhp more than stock and 4.10 gears to beat that car. I have a fast F-body, and can out run z06's all day long, but they are not going to get beat by basic bolt on cars...thats for sure. My buddy ran his for the first time at a 12.3 on a 80% humidity hot day at 1000 elevation, stock except for varram. Stock F1's got him a 1.87 60 ft. time. stock f-bodies were 13.8-14.4, and bolt on f-bodies were all in the lower 13's. I wish I had a Z06, but got me a Camaro instead!!! Anyways, for a stock car, they are killer.

P.S., that same day I was running a good .5 seconds faster than the Z06, and there was a 2000 TA with MTI shortblock, stage 2 heads, blower cam. Vortech w/ aftercooler, 505 rwhp, 3.73's, Fiske wheels, 6 speed, 17 X 11 with GSC's and it could only run a best of 12.3-12.4 at 118. He got beat by a stock Z06 on F1's. It was a real good looking car though.

13.0 best 1/4 for Z06? Is that where your at or is that what you think in general.

You are dead right about that. With like 350+ rwhp and 3000 lbs, they are not easy prey for our pudgy F-bods. Hell, they give Vipers a run, and those are the holy grail of American muscle.

13.0 1/4 for an '03 Z06? Only with a horrible driver. You'd better talk to J-Rod. He went high 11's in his stock Z06 I believe. I've driven a stock '03 Z06 with about 10 miles on it. Every gear felt like my A4 Z28 on a 150 shot. They are badass.

Cragar- Nice kill. It's always fun running someone and then pulling over and talking about it. There aren't many cool guys out there like that these days.
