(you wont be going home in a stang. i can promise u that) also, after you eat him, mention that f-bodies have more power and half the price. also, let him know that ford's v8 4.6 is a closer CID to gm's 4.3 v6 then gm's 5.7 v8. then laugh and leave a set of dark black stripes leading out of his parking lot to remind him

Well, I just home from the shop...
CAI, Eibach suspension kit, front and rear sway bars, EBC rotors, hawk pads, SS brake lines..dyno tune next week...
It is quite peppy, and fun as hell to drive. Surely not as fast in a straight line as the V8's are, but it handles like no other.
edit. new wheels and new Comp R Nitto's

"some" spray??? You mean, at least a 150 shot right? You don't just drop 2 seconds at the strip on street tires from using a little nitrous. I don't really see your stock focus standing up to well to a 150+ shot either.
Now you're just being ignorant. A stock LS1 (excluding 2.73 cars) can trap 107+ at the strip. And you "ran away" from a bolt'on LS1, from a roll? I'm not finding any part of your story believable.

the only time you was passing vettes when you was stock was while they were sitting in a parking lot. let alone any other car. your car handles well for being slow. but thats part of it. a honda civic handles well also. unfortunately when you finally get more horsepower than a bigwheel you will find out things change.
you just dont have the power unfortunately and wrong wheels propelling you.
and actually your car at 130mph will get less mpg than a ls1 at 130 mph. its simple really. we actually dont have to floor it to do 130. you will ive raced in a svt focus. there lateral 'gs and such are not as great as what people hype the cars to be.

I am no longer stock, should be more fun, and you all are correct, they are not blazzing fast in a straight line.
But they will hum right along at 130 all day and get better MPG

basically its as fast as a v6 non supercharged grand prix lol. which is kinda sad when you add in. my 04 GP was 3557 lbs i think it was. and only 200 crank hp technically the the focus has a decent weight to hp ratio... guess its just a ford thing ? no offense to unit or any other 03/04 cobras or the lightning all of which i like but.. why they allowed svt contours or focus ill never understand.

I believe the NMRA used to have a class called 'Focus Frenzy' or something like that.
I've literally seen a turbo SVT focus run mid 14's.
Very good daily driver, but that's it.
