Default svt focus vs trans am

so going home from work today im cruising nicely, not weaving, not even speeding (scary i know)... that is until on 59 a blacked out svt focus comes up riding my *** in traffic and swerves around me to cut me off. i signal onto 95th street and he turns as well, we catch a light, one car in front of him, im in the other lane. so i pass to the left lane and he pulls around yelling at me to "come get some!" as he tries to pull a ricer flyby on me, i drop it and hammer down... wow i didnt realize how big of turds those are, i passed him like he was standing still. the next light im turning left, he stops and tells me my car is fast, i said no your car is just slow. he replies "its supercharged!!!!" are they really that slow? my car is only bolt ons...

yes those cars are in fact slow. SVT focus hangs with scion tc's and sentras.... I looked up somewhere its 0-60 time is in 7.6 secs and any person who believes svt focus is fast needs to get their heads checked...

My stock '94 Integra would leave an SVT Focus in the dust... mid 15s on a good day.

They're slow as hell in a straight line but handle and stop pretty well especially for a FWD vehicle.

I...... *cough* .......... have an older issue of Sport Compact where they ran some tests on one. It put down a scorching 150 horses, and a cereal box twisting 132ftlbs. They managed a 15.8 at 89.5 out of the little thing.

It didn't break 75 horses until 3,000!

It's just a 2.0 4 banger with 170 hp and 145 tq. Nice murder, he should've known better than that.

an SVT Focus is no better than riding a skateboard... sure it will get you from point A to point B, but in the end you still get no p*ssy.

i just want to know why he tried, you figure a pretty loud exhaust and some A-pillar gauges showing (not that it makes you faster) he would have though twice about a stock ls1 let alone a modded one.

on a side note, i was at a ford dealership with my buddy today (owns a svt cobra ironically) and the salesman asked me if i wanted to join the ford family and trade my car in on a new mustang.... i politely said no, it doesnt make sense to go smaller in engine. he said yes but the new mustang gt makes 300 rwhp, certainly your car doesnt make that. he then refused to believe that a stock ls1 makes 325 stock and i should be up around the 350 range, and i have walked on the new mustangs.
