The average driver will put them in the mid to high 12's. I'm not sure what the best bone stock is, but I think MM&FF got one to run 12.2 @ 117mph. If I had to guess as to what happened in this case I'd say that he was shifting easy and early since he said that the motor wasn't broken in.
Good run.
Good run.
I know if I had paid as much as he did I sure as hell would break it in right!
All Shelby's are manuals with the exception of the GT-H.
A mid 12 @ 110-114 is what would usually happen with a good driver. Nice run OP. The car makes a lot of torque down low which makes it really hard to launch, much akin to the '03-'04 Cobra.

I agree GT500's only come with an M6. Nice kill. Don't expect to beat all of them like that. Alot of those rich guys that buy them aren't the car guys like us. There was a guy at the track with a whippled full exhaust gt500. Car had 640 HP at the rear wheels. The best the guy could do was a 2.2 short time and he went 12.3 at 127. Can you say driver mod.

A guy I know who is rich as hell bought one and did some work to the supercharger or put a whipple on im not sure but made somewhere around 600 to 650 at the wheels. He drove it around a few times and sold it because it was too fast. I hope im that rich some day

The KR tested (magazine numbers here
) same as the regular GT500 at about 12.5, and yes, Evan Smith got a GT500 bone stock into lower 12's, but he made several passes before that number in the higher 12's, which is where the average owner/driver falls. From what I've seen , while the Gt500s take to mods well and show impressive dyno numbers, the 03-04 Cobras achieve better ETs with similar or less HP. If you're running beside a GT500 at WOT, there's no mistaking the incredibly loud whine, audible even over some of the louder exhausts, the KRs are even louder. They are both nice looking cars , but a bit overpriced for performance. I'd take a Shelby GT over either the GT500 or the KR on looks alone from the ones I've seen. A couple of grand in mods and the Shelby GT is superior to the GT500s/KRs for less money.FWIW, the last GT500 I ran at the track, with gears/pully upgrade/tune/cai/exaust/and drs ran a best of 12.0 whereas the last Cobra I ran with similar rwhp ran a 11.5. Could've been driver/track conditions/or weight. Both were slower than they should've been for the power, imo, but not knocking them in the least. 75% of the cars at the track here don't pull those numbers.
