Default 00' H/C WS6 vs. SRT-4@25PSI

I'll make this nice and short. I ran into a bunch of guys last weekend and one of them had a black dumdumdumdumdum. He said that the guts were all forged, bigger injectors, 60mm turbo at 25psi,etc. We ran em from 45 and were pretty much even until i had to shift to 4th and he had a little more gear and pulled a nose on me at 1XX. Needless to say I was mad as hell that I got beat by a 4 banger even though it is was at 25psi on an upgraded turbo. My mods are in my sig and my car dynoed at 450rwhp/410rwtq. Does this sound right? Anybody else have any experience with modded SRT-4s?

Sounds plausible, My buddy and I ran into a dumdumdumdumdum that put buses on us in his built bottom end 347, with afr's heads, .6xx lift cam, tune, LT's and suspension upgrades. Come to find out the guy was the owner of a speed shop that only worked on neons......LOL

i have messed with srt's with a little less built than the one you raced but you got suckered into racing from a 45 roll. the thrird gear in them damn things are crazy long and they have no problems at all racing highway. Next time race one from a dig because their first and sencond are super short and by that time you will be infront to far for them to catch you!

I got stung pretty bad by a heavily modded skittle. My car is probably sitting at around 390-400 rwhp... no dyno yet. It's a crappy feeling, I know... but unfortunately, those things can be pretty fast.

Those are some high numbers for a ls6 intake car. None the less, get some N2O and spank him.

Good death. They can definitely be fast. There's a stage 3 at a local track here (alot less power than the one you raced) and it runs 11.7's @ 117 on slicks. That beats my cam only time on drag radials.

nahasapeemapetalon, those numbers were with the FAST setup, I'm sure they're a little lower now. The guy I bought it from says the previous owner had it tuned on 89 octane!! I was ******* amazed when we went to the gas station and he says "I usually just put mid-grade in it." WTF!! I'd never heard of anybody running less than 91 in there LS1 and that's only because they couldn't get 93! Needless to say it runs really rich.I need to get it leaned out and running right.

A good friend of mine had a built Integra GSR with a 60mm turbo and he was running on 25psi as well. Its not the same engine, or even the same car that you raced, but with that turbo at that boost level, he made 550whp. Just for a little reference.

I had a t3/t4 60 trim on my Eclipse GSX a few years ago. 25psi and meth or race gas is no joke on a built 4 banger. Put it this way, H/C/I will not get it done against one.

No offense, but an lsx car with H/C/I that is built right with a good driver won't have ANY problem with a turbo eclipse

you havent raced the right eclipse. awd boosted they're practically evo's. i've seen too many imports around my way rippen on us i cant rag on them. 605fwhp in a honda 400awhp in a talon not sure on the weight but if they're not lighter than a vette they have to be damn close to em. dont quote me but im pretty sure the saying for skittles were "now anybody can be an ******* for 20grand"(not sure how much they cost but im pretty sure thats what i heard everyone around here saying lol)

Those cars are quick. There are some fast ones around here making 400+ and I think a couple are claiming 500.

This was last year, I was on a 150 shot. This one had a cage in it lol....

There aren't any eclipses around here but there were a couple civic hatches, one went 11.2 the other was 10.4. Both cruised on the street last year on the weekends. It just depends on who built them.

They can be made quick, but they're still a joke. Even in the import community. A lot of people look at them as EVOs for poor people.
But yes, a forged 25psi dumdumdumdum is going to make comparable power to yours (~400whp) but they weigh less.
Race from a dig next time. I hate fucked wheel drive.

it will actually make alot more.
one of my good friends has a 05 srt with a 50 trim at 24psi and makes 455whp so a 60 trim with same boost and built motor is prob in the 500 region
