Re: Worked a ZR1 last night the lt5 is a truly an exotic engine, almost reminds me of a ferrari v8 due to its characteristics, i would love a zr-1 vette, i have only seen one in my entire life. by the way what was their top speed was it 190mph correct me if im wrong

Re: Worked a ZR1 last night I'd believe around 200 mph. The car was built like an exotic, it wasn't a drag car but an american exotic built to live in high RPM. It truely was a track car.

Re: Worked a ZR1 last night LT5 C4 are weak on the bottom end and hard to 60' due to IRS and DOHC, but they sing on the top side! A buddy had (and totalled)a 90 ZR-1 and replaced it with a 92. The lower factory HP 90 pulled stronger than the higherr HP raated 92.
On a side note the LT5 held the record for 24 hour high speed endurance (178 mph if memory serves me correctly).
Anyway to make a long story short, GOOD KILL. But ZR1s rock, I dislikedvets until I drove a lt5 and reved the **** out of it.
