Good kill so I guess they are actually a bit slower than 300C/Charger SRT's.

The original owner might have swapped out the muffler for something else and left the system looking stock. Other then that, maybe it was tuned before or it was just taking damn good care of. Good kill though!

I have a hard time believing the 300 is faster than the challenger but weight do make a difference

Yeah, but they still trap (just like all the other SRT-8 cars) damn near exactly what an F-body will trap on a good day from what I've read. And they have around the same top speed too. So I don't know how you "pulled on him good," but good kill regardless.

No reason to down yourself. Nothing wrong with an A4........unless you like running slower and missing shift, breaking rears and frying clutches. Congrats on the A4...be proud....hold your head up and race and M6 if your feeling down because when ur putting a half a car on the m6 guys every shift u'll be ear to ear grinning. And don't get me wrong m6's are fun but if gm wouldn't of put the s-10 drivetrains in our cars they would be even better.

i should probably talk about your kill too lol. Very nice! i recently killed my g/f's brothers charger r/t after he was all hard over his "HEMI". It wasn't even a race. Love these damn ls1's!

Good kill bud!

x2..should have been a dead heat race...very suprised it didn't go down that way....

Just don't expect every stock SRT8 to go down like that.

On paper it should have been an even race, but who knows how those things downshift (or fail to downshift) with the transmission that are in them. I don't know much about them.

They take a second to downshift and they run really strong from 50+ mph. My 300SRT would just inch away from my 02 SS (both a few bolt ons) so this "should" have been door to door with the top end favoring the SRT actually. If the guy shifted it himself with the A/stick, it would have slowed it down some. Good kill either way, if you read a few other SRT races here you will see they can go either way and some are much stronger than others for some unknown reason (octane/TM?).

I havent even seen one yet.. We have one in town but ive yet to see him..

any body got Pics??? i like to see one up close soon

ALSO Hotrod Magazine.. put some bolt-ons on one and went "ALMOST in the 12's" LMFAO ..he went like 13.07 LOL so a stock f-body should be a good race

My 2000 Z28 went 13.01@107 at Richmond, Va Stock..w/stock Tires and clutch
