2002 Z28 vs. 2008 Dodge Challenger wtf

i doubt the engine was even broken in yet. i know with the new engines you don't have a very long break-in period but he needs at least a few thousand on it
as for the exhaust, it may have just been stock. i read in motor trend that the exhaust comes as close as possible to the noise limit without exceeding it.
i've been in some mustang gt's and they are pretty loud for stock exhaust (edge style). (just example )
nice race

Exactly... if I were building a car to bracket race with, or something with 600rwhp+ it would be an automatic, but for a real drivable street car that I can actually have fun in, I need that clutch pedal

let's face it 99% of the miles most of us put on these cars is daily driving and maybe 1% racing. The auto is great for that 1% but the stick is fun for the rest of the driving. A stalled auto is fun to drive don't get me wrong here but if you want to drive the car you get a stick if you want to ride around and race get the auto. Man pedal dumdumdum.....just kidding all auto's don't kill me

No, they all run the same depending on conditions. 300s are a little lighter and 24lbs lighter in the wheels, total so perhaps .1 and 1mph if that?
OP: Good kill. 40mph is a dead spot in 2nd and 80mph a dead spot in 3rd. 60mph should have been his prime spot but who knows if he knew how to drive it properly.
Go get dyno and track numbers!

Good kill.
I ran a 300srt at 70 and up a few times one day and we were dead even everytime. I had a girl in my car that weighed about 130 though with the tops off and he didn't have any passengers and the windows were up.
I saw an SRT challenger on the road for the first time yesterday coming around a bend on a twisty and I about crashed from staring at it. That is one was badass looking MF coming down the road at you.
