WOW, loved racing guys like that, i would have put 2 1/2 cars on him before he got half way through first gear. he needs to go and find a empty parking lot and work on his launches.

How many miles are on it? I heard that they're extremely detuned and after you get past 500 miles or so you can take it back to the dealer to have them reflash it. Somethin to do with boost on the rings, or with the supercharger break in I think. Good run anyways.

On our local forum everyone is still like, my car hung in there pretty good but they say the kid still loses in the end because someone else drove his car and still only beat me by what he did. SO now the owner of it is saying that the driver wasn't pushing it all they way and we can race again if I want. So i'm gonna fix my crank pully thats wobbling and race him again.

Wow if I had 60K Id save up 12K more and get a Z06! Way better for the money! No offense but that is the pentacle of Fords overpricing for inferior quality...a Stock Z28 barely getting beat by a "Supercar" Shelby GT500

Some of you guys act like that GT500 should have ripped the doors off of him.
They are not very fast for what they are supposed to be. 500hp and mid twelves? Heavy and unimpressive. Quit nutswinging on PRO drivers times. I have always said they are about as fast as an 03 Cobra and thats about what it should look like.

There is a guy here locally that has a black 500. He can't get it out of the 12's witha a pulley , bolt ons, exhaust, and gears. he had someone drive his car in ordewr to hit 11's.
