Although I can appreciate your opinion & I'm not a Ford guy; the Ford GT certainly is a worthy collector's car. Agreed that it's not a supercar, as is the Saleen S7. Never the less, it is a car that warrants a monikor better than "Suck farts out of ***'s with straws." If nothing else, the commitment by Ford to re-engineer & manufacture the Ford GT is worth some respect.

I've driven a lot of cars and it makes the rest pail in comparison.

So, here I am defending the Ford GT & simply agreed w/ the original poster whom commented that it wasn't a supercar & you choose my reply to him to respond to?
Yes, I have driven one & it is not a supercar. These days, seems like, everyone's car is supposed to be a supercar. Further, in that same post I referenced what a supercar is & the Ford GT will "pale in comparison" to an S7, a real supercar. Ford GT is an important car, as I noted. However, there are very few "as bought" supercars.

wow who pays someone to drive their stock car. i can see someone paying a person to drive their 8 second and lower car. but damn i expected the mustang to pull alittle harder than that...lol

The Saleen shop there is pretty cool. In their showroom is the Troy Police hot rod that was consfiscated in a drug raid, a Ford GT, a Saleen Mustang, A Saleen F-150 style truck, a Saleen Focus? or some smaller car similar to a Focus & many photo displays. It has been a year or so since I've been there. They rotate there dispaly cars so maybe now they have an S7 on display. Saleen is also working on a or several GM based products. They wouldn't confirm which cars, but, would guess Corvette, new Camaro, & maybe a GM compact model. Anyway, it's a great place to visit.
