Turbo Integra blows after Messing with TA...lol vids on post #28
Me and my GF was crusing around town just trying to get some racing footage for a class project... And while I was on the highway I see this Black integra and it revs it at me.. I didnt think he was serious until I heard the turbo whine...this guy was cocky he was even giving me the jump thats when I laughted..lol....I told him to jump but we ended up going at the same time.. We roll from about 60ish and he was right with me hanging strong turbo sounded nice... at about 100mph I hear a big pop sound and I see the integra slow way down.. I look in my rear view mirror and I see a bunch of smoke coming from him..he pulled over but i was not able to help him since I was pulling on him.... But on my way home like a hour later I passes thru the same highway and I saw he was still there, but he had some people helping him so i think he ended up being ok... but i hoped he learned his lesson about messing V8's...lol

sorry bro.. but I told my girlfriend before the race started but she was saying it was not going to be worth it since it was just and Integra... but when we heard the turbo it was too late cuz the race started like 3 secs after. but we got some other clips of other cars racing mianly just some imports if you want i can post them up and put a link to them?.. they werent that great

He will **** it up if he's getting random footage driving around town.
A car like he's driving doesn't go to street races. They go around and do stoplight to stoplight ricer crap. They race for fun. That's not street racing, that's irresponsible. Take a quick look at these 2 videos to see a little street racing.

Nah Im not going to **** it up..I rarely street race only do it when i know its safe.. I mostly go to represent f-bodies and show some little ricers that their cars are really not that fast and just pieces of crap.. I only go to hang out ... and yes the footage im after will show the whole street scene to be able to depict the subject better

You mean like people around industrial parks with 9 second cars racing for 2 grand? People prepping the street with VHT? You're going to show some of that?
Look.. all I'm saying is that there is a large street racing scene around Houston at least.. and if you're driving around for footage, you're NOT getting it.

Well grats on your grade.
I'd like to see the video though because I believe that people who saw it still have no idea what true street racing is.
You're not doing any true street racing with a lid/exhaust LS1.. you'd need a 300 shot to run with street racers.
Street racing does not happen on public roads during the day against people you've never spoken to. That's called reckless driving.

I guess the OP is not getting what is trying to be said. OP You stated that you don't race that often. Then you go on to get footage of a bunch of roll racing and think you actually did well by representing actual street racing with that?
Don't get me wrong, I find from a roll enjoyable. Lets not lie to ourselves when we say that is hard core, real deal street racing. You passed off the poopied down version of street racing.
