Incorrect buddy. They have what's called AutoStick, he could have used that to downshift then proceeded using it like a clutchless manual.

Gears are 3.06 if I remember correctly too.

Congrats to the OP, it's always funny as hell when you get to puncture a big "ego balloon" like that! I read an article on the new Challenger tonight that said that they ran about a 13.3 stock, which I guess isn't TOO bad considering the 4,140 lb curb weight!!

All I can say is, I can't wait until one of 'em decides that my "old car" is gonna be easy pickings... (I've already taken about 200 lbs from the car, & the aluminum engine & 'glass hood will help even more...)

It won't be long. With the same power plant as the SRT-8s before them, once they figure out tuning, a FI setup will be nasty. That being said good kill the only SRT-8 that beat me was SC with DRs at the track. Its was close he got me by .2.
