C6 vs. Firehawk
C6 vs. Firehawk so i'm driving home from work and i see a new vette, so i catch up to him and give him the look. then without honking or anything he takes off and i didn't chase him cause i was like wtf is this guy doing( there were cars in the way) so i get up behind him and as we go through a toll booth i was waiting to get around the other cars so we could go at it, hes like a lenghth and a half or two in front of me and he punches it again, this time i let him have it from 75mph i dropped down to 4th and let her eat and by the time i got to the top of 4th (125mph) and got out of it i had pulled around him and put about two lengths between us even though he got a two length head start and the jump. I was wondering who it was, the car is a White C6, custom rims w dark centers and chrome lip had a black strip on the center of the hood and had the corvette logo on the windshield also had a Z51 chrome logo on the front fender. wanted to know if it was a ls2 or ls3, anyone know him?
That vette must have been in a higher gear or else you have an absolute monster on your hands. If you pulled him 2 car lengths from a 2 car length deficit, and you did it all in one gear, then your car is insanely fast for 433hp. I highly doubt it was a LS3 car, unless he was in 5th gear during the race.
he didnt say it was modded, unless cosmetic enhancements make your car go faster. It is very believable if it was a stock 05 auto ls2 car, they were baely faster than a stock f-body.

From about 85-110ish+ a Ls2 C6 started pulling away pretty nicely into the 100's vs me.
I mean this guy has far more mods than me. With his mods I believe he could make up that distance and start gaining.
I'd believe him. A stock ls2 C6 making what 400hp so 350-60rwhp dependant on trans? Plus with a good driver wouldn't an ls2 C6 run mid-high 12's at 110-115mph or so?
I'm gonna say good kill.

^^^^says the mustang guy on a lsx website, beleive what you want remember it's 433RWHP not flywheel, guess i need to get a camera so all the haters will beleive me... or you could ask the guy in the vette, plus my cars been on a diet and i didn't list all my mods in my sig, ran outta roomand i only way like 150lbs.

^^^ yes very true before i had my motor built i had lid, cut-out, and tune, with a couple of other mods, my wifes mother has a C6 with the 6 speed auto and we raced from a dig (wifes brother was driving the vette) i got him off the line by one link and we raced to 150mph and i stayed one length the whole time neither one of us could pull on the other. Now i can walk away from her car, and to all these haters my car has run almost 11. flat, which is faster than a stock Zo6. and the car i raced only had corsa pipes so i don't know were everyone is getting "modded" from i never said that.
