I find alot of Fox bodies and 99-04 GT's throwing loud repeated revs at me when I'm in my 05.........so it isn't just the GM guys suffering this issue. I don't usually throw any revs back......cuz my exhaust is stock and sounds weak.

i have alot of foxs but see a fox can be a 10 sec car or a 15 sec car. You never know lol But i rev rev rev to so eh. Keep on reving

before the cam i used to get it alot from mustangs, evo's and sti's, but once the cam went in i havent had the first one! ive actually tried to race people and they wont for some reason.....i know my car aint nothin special but i guess people are different here

I think it has alot to do with ignorance. Alot of people buy 'the affordable american V8' and it's their first one and don't know much about cars (or other cars). IOW - they just aren't 'car enthusiasts'. They buy it cause it's cool.

I see it alot too. I had one guy (my GF's best friend's husband) retorically ask me, 'whats faster than a ca special GT' (his wife has an S197 GT/CS Vert)? I said uh, a bone stock mach 1. (we jsut got done talking about my blue mach) LOL

They just don't know any better.

Oh and this was after he said he was 'going to change the chip' to make it even faster.

Same here. Sometimes its easier to rev than trying to get a hand free shifting. It also gets peoples attention to let them know they have a nice car.

Most mustangs are garbage. Weak platform to start from but still a V8. I guess i should have said, garbage in STOCK form. Hell even with full exhaust(longtubes,orx,catback) 99-04's are only laying down like 235 to the wheels.

Even though they arent the greatest i still actually like the looks and interior of them alot.

Sorry, that is 100% incorrect (and/or subjective). 235 with full exhaust? M5s aren't far from that bone stock.

And please don't group Cobra's, machs and GT's all in the same group. They are all different cars.

100% eh? www.mustangforums.com was a member with a full exhaust and an m5. 235 at the wheels. I would rock the hell out of a cobra or mach 1 anyday of the week. Just not over a Camaro/Trans am. Didnt mean to put Cobra or Mach 1 in the same group. I should have said Mustang GT's are Garbage. And they are. /discussion.

I really liked this particular Mustang GT that belonged to a friend.
Sure doesn't look like garbage to me. Then again, 800rwhp
and $6K or so in wheels tends to help any car.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.

^I ment in stock form. Climb off your high *** horse. All you do is come on here and defend mustangs like they are gods gift. When we all know in fact, IN STOCK FORM THEY ARE GARBAGE. And if you could read i also mention the 99-04's up^. Not 05+ with the 3.55's. Seriously, why in the hell are you in here? Not to mention my car is bone stock. No **** it would whip me easy.
