I love the look on modded Vette owner's faces when my 3700# Turbo Regal goes flyin by. 4.1L with a PT66 turbo, 26 PSI and alcohol does wonders from a roll. Not to mention 26 MPG!

Not to be a dick but when i had my Boosted hatch for a daily driver i would hang right with or beat bolt on ls1's it was a low 12 sec. honda....I loved it and i miss it she got stolen from me last wed. but o well maybe down the road ill build another one.....And you dont have to spend alotta money on them to make them fast mine put down 250whp/215wtq and it was a BONE STOCK 130k miles B18b1 with a Ebay turbo kit maybe $2000 wrapped up in the whole setup if you include tuning and so on..........

i was messin' with a newer blue turbo'd RSX last night on my way back from the MN state Fair
haha he got up next to me and dropped it and flew by. I just kinda laughed and flashed my lights so he'd slow down. He got next to me again and we went from a 55 roll. I beat his *** bad but moral of the story is you never know who's gonna be modded and to what extent. I could have lost just as easily but it does happen. I haven't ran into one to beat me yet but i'm sure my day is coming

My friend kurt has a 93 hatch with b16 swap and t3/t4 turbo on 9 psi and I would always pull him by half a car when I had Kooks and a K&N cai. Don't feel bad just mod and be ready for the next time.

why be ashamed? our cars are not the fastest of the fast. grant it it was a civic, but keep in mind, there is just as big an aftermarket for them as there is for us. not everyone of them is riced out.
now i will give you credit, yours is stock and it doesnt seem that he raped you. also his was built pretty hardcore and stripped, so you probably just got beat becasue his civic weighs about 2000lbs. to make you feel better, if you had the 10g's under your hood, that he has under his, you would have left him wondering if his car is running or not. just remember, he built his car to run with yours stock.

I had a guy in a old looking CRX with an intercooler come up beside my in my GN. I was chuckling to myself as he honked and let him have the jump...damn if he didn't hang right there for a while. Talk about swallowing a lump in your throat. I finally came around him but my GN is pretty ferocious and never thought the day would come like that. Never judge a book by its cover...fo sho.

The surprising part here is that he spooled well enough to stay even with you off the hit before he started gaining cars on you. It seems like every other civic story I've heard of has the civic playing catch up.
