Ran a 2004 SVT Cobra
A friend of mine has a 2004 cobra. His mods include 2.81 pulley, Diablo tuner JLT cai, 3,73 gears (i believe) SLP catless X pipe and LM1 catback. We ran 3 times from 30 - 130-140 ish Each time in the top of 3rd i would pull a half car (his front bumper at my rear quarter/bumper), then i would pull another 1/2 car to a car in 4th. My car is a M6 with a 231/237 cam, FAST 90 and full exhaust with 3.73 gears. I would consider us both to be good drivers. Does this sound about right? I am probably around 415- 420 rwhp and i have heard that these cobras (with mods i listed) can be up around 450-460 rwhp?

good kill but doesnt sound exactly right. i would have thought the exact same outcome but with him being the one pulling. with those mods he should be makin at least 460rwhp and with custom tune can make up to 495rwhp but still should be a close race for you. but either way good kill maybe your just a better driver!

for comparison sake, best i have done with my car at the 1/4th mile is 12.02 @ 117 with a 1.9 60 foot (i was having traction issues ) and it was around 80 degrees and a bit humid. I am going to try again in a few weeks when the weather is a bit cooler, this time with skinnies up front and new tires out back. I know the car has 11's in it and im also hoping for a better trap speed.

It really depends. You're looking at ~450RWHP for the cobra. (475-495 isn't gonna happen without a ported eaton and some other work).
I think this race sounds about right. You dont' know your power exactly, but you have a 117 Trap and he weighs a little more (I imagine). It came down to half a car. THe only thing it could be on the Cobra side, is bad tune, or not shifting in a good rpm range.
Nice kill, and you car sounds nice.

Most pullied Cobras I've seen are in the 460-465rwhp range if they have the supporting mods (exhaust, CAI, etc), and I've seen a few in the 470+ range, as well. They do weigh a decent amount more, though, and with your trap I'd imagine you're 410-420rwhp guess is pretty much accurate, so I'd say you outdrove him a bit. That should have been a pretty good race, but I still would have given him the slight advantage.

modular powerhouse has tuned hundreds of cobras and all of there pullied cobras make 460+ but most of them depending on supporting mods are in the 470-480s. it usually just takes a ported blower to break the 500 mark. but one of my best friends has a 03-04 sonic blue cobra with a 2.81, cai, fullexhaust, and tims custon tune and he made 487rwhp the day my car was tuned!
That alone is good for 15-20 RWHP.
