Not at Sears Point you're not....

rt's aren't even a good match for 3v gt's.

i beat my buddies stock rt by 2 cars in my stock 04 gt 5spd

so rt vs. ls1 camaro equals waste of gas.

Nice full bolt-ons will make the difference, raced one at infineon he got a 12.9, me 13.4. Bolt-ons will put you in the cars league and way out of the drivers league.

Idk i'm thinking he could be close after looking at some of these bolt on srt 8s. Those big hemis like to breathe. I would think now after researching up on some of these bad boys that he could poss. be in the 450 range with his mods. They are strong but I think with a lid and a stall/headers maybe some some weight reduction and I could get him by about a car. I guess the next thing after I beat this charger is to beat his dads d1sc c5 z06 lol 1,000 bhp.

Id expect him to pull harder on us, considering they supposedly have over 100 more HP. Ill prolly end up racing him eventually.

IF you had a stall and and those mods you should be able to walk him easy from a dig and a roll

I'm a bone stock 01 SS with only flowmaster catback, dynoed 317/334 and pulled 2 srt8 chargers,1 bone stock and the other guy said he only had exhaust, the (exhaust only guy) was pretty suprised when I told him I was bone stock ,I think he had more done because I only got him by about a fender but he was hanging in there pretty good, oh yeah I'm M6 we went from about a 70+mph roll when I dropped it into 4th, thought about third but don't think the stock tranny and rear can handle it

Put on your T-tops next time. They make the aerodynamics weird at high speeds.

They even give you a nice sticker to put on your car.
Dude....didnt' anyone tell you? THat's how they tune their CAI's. (With the stickers). the CAI alone is 5-10, but with the tuning via applying the sticker, that's like 25-30.

70mph is the dead spot for the SRT-8 in 3rd gear. Shame on them! Don't they read my advice columns?!?

I try not to race anyone at that speed. Takes too long to catch up (if at all) or make it a decisive win.
