what's an average WS6 run?
anyone have a ws6 with typical mods done to it? say, intake, exhaust.....ect whatever you guys do to em.. anyway, what do they usually run in the quarter? im trying to get an idea of what my car will run in the quarter without driving to the nearest track which is over 100mi. away. i'll be going there next month, but i just wanted an idea. thanks.

13's is what i was thinking they ran, but i've heard of some running low 14's. anyway, they pull hard off the line, but after that its not too much. thanks.

Any running low 14's are driven by people shifting with their mouth instead of their hand.
Dude, if you don't have a high 12 second car, you don't stand a chance.

why do you automatically assume i dont? you think there's no such thing as a high 12 second integra? huh? i cant verify what my car is running yet, but i know i've beaten every T/A i've raced. usually by 4-5 car lengths in a fairly short distance, not quite a quarter. im not here to start anything, but i was just asking a few questions...

ok. that's good. i've only raced 1 because there arent hardly ANY around this area, and when i beat him, the nose of his car was right by my doorhandle. it's close. my 60' time will not be the best, but after 2nd gear, i can pull on them.

Re: what's an average WS6 run?
I've driven an Integra before and unless you have done something major you're nowhere near 12s. Oh and if an LS1 is running 14s the driver must be drunk or in reverse. Stock an LS1 f-body should be low to mid 13s, sometimes high 13s in crap conditions. Some with a good driver have been known to break 12s with no mods. Are you sure those Trans-ams were racing? You must be related to our good buddy bullitt. Lemme guess you make 10 second passes like him? All motor? lol

Re: what's an average WS6 run?
i said nothing about 10second passes... i said i've never even been to the track yet with this combination... i also never said that i havnt done something major to my car... im also very sure that they were true WS6 trans ams. 6speeds, ram air, what else do you think you need to know? im not related to anyone named bullitt either. and for everyone else, NO, there are no stickers on my car.... i particularly hate "ricers" who think that a bunch of **** from autozone will make them fast... yes, i know that most of them are all a bunch of mouthy teenagers, but i myself do not fall into that category...

Re: what's an average WS6 run?
Thats pretty impressive cause the GSR I drove about even to my stock Y87 v6 firebird, when we ran them. If you're wondering the GSR lost but not by much. So to beat a stock Trans am with mild mods like you claim is like teaching a pigs to fly. What are these "mild" mods you have? Cause I'm thinking turbocharger, nitrous, or maybe supercharger something along those lines to even hang with one. Are you sure the Trans-Ams weren't stock TPIs or maybe V6s with Trans-Am emblems?

Re: what's an average WS6 run?
come on... give it up. they were real trans ams... i would know if it was a v6... just because i chose to build a 4cyl doesnt mean i cant count spark plug wires. my car isnt a GSR either. its an LS block. b18c5 type r head. tvm individual throttle bodies (yes, right now its all motor.) the head was freshly rebuilt with crower springs, retainters, valves. +1 valves were used. mild port and polish on the head. of course, 3 angle valve job. the LS block was used to give me more torque, it was done with eagle rods, and civic type r pistons. also, the combustion chambers on the head were welded to give me a good 13:1 compression ratio. as you can tell, with that compression ratio, i would not run nitrous. anyway, im hoping to find out what it runs in the quarter as soon as i make the 100mile trip to the track.

Re: what's an average WS6 run?
Oh and Integra sorry for harrassing you so bad I've just been in one of those moods today. I've heard of stock Z06s break into 11s so it really depends on the driver and conditions. But the Z06s have serious power and fairly low weight.

You DO NOT, I repeat, run a high 11 - low 12 second quarter mile (what it would take to hang with/beat a Z06) .. with those mods and nothing else. I am sorry, but some head work and other light mods do not turn a 15 second car into an 11 second beast.
Btw, before I whipped out the flag I consulted an import performance shop in the area who had built a highly modified integra for some kid I can't stand ... and he said the same thing ... NO WAY. I really doubt your even coming close to that trans am who shifts with his mouth to a low 14 second with your integra. Sorry buddy, I hate to be the one to break it to you ... I know it hurts.
Until you can whip out some proof of this miracle car, your gonna get the flag all day long.
