Mustang Im at home the other night and my buddy calls me and says he's with this 5.0 that he says "smokes T/A's and Camaro's all day". That night I didnt pay him much mind because I had just got my feelings hurt the night before. But last night I was cruising with them in a 4 door cavalier when they showed me the car. We confronted him and all we got was yea those cars are slow. He hooked up with a green LT1 formula completely stock, went from a light and the formula pulled him about a car then the mustang caught up but didnt pull too hard. So after being insulted by this guy I went home and got my car came back out and found him. We went from light and in 3rd gear i pulled him about two cars. He wanted to go again so this time we lined up I purged he looked at me and said wtf was that? I flipped the good ol TNT switch. Pulled him a bus length at least. Got a ricer flyby then the flashers 
wasnt sure bout that but..... I love the TNT kit

Re: Mustang Awesome. nitrous = fun. I wanna get a kit soon... nice kill! Fox bodies are worthy opponents for LT1s, but LS1s really don't have a lightly modded mustang that'll keep up with them. It must be fun being at the top of the food chain

Awesome. nitrous = fun. I wanna get a kit soon... nice kill! Fox bodies are worthy opponents for LT1s, but LS1s really don't have a lightly modded mustang that'll keep up with them. It must be fun being at the top of the food chain

I think he just hasn't gotten it through his head that he can beat on a lot of LS1's.
On a side note, I think tit bar has some serious mood swings ... he seems to be really cool sometimes, but then just burst out at random people for no reason ... weird.

Dr. Evil , Here in Houston the best it has gone is 11.84 @ 117.4 on motor. It has some more ET in it, but there is NO weight transfer since I have it set up for auto-X'ing. On juice it only went 11.20's since I was bouncing off the rev limiter before the 1000' mark due to the sort *** DR-(275/40-17), but it went 127.9 in the process. I don't race the car at the dragstrip so running out of gear doesn't bother me that much. On the street it is great!
