Ok, so I don't know how you guys figure pricing on stuff, but I figure it like this.
I got a $50 off coupon from Summit on any purchase over $200.
I didn't need anything, but I figured I'd get some stuff for my DD Z28.
So I got $219 of stuff, the Energy Suspension poly bushing kit cost $46, I paid $169 after the $50 discount, so I consider the bushing kit free.

All I bought was 52" of steel 1/8" thick and 1 1/4" wide= $5.50.
I already had the welding stuff, cutoff wheels, paint, etc.

Here are some pics, I didn't take enough of the actual boxing in process.

Only before pic of stock LCA.

Finished, before paint, about 1 1/2 pounds heavier.

Might rust out.

This stuff is like undercoating but way tougher.

I sprayed that coating on the inside to prevent rust.

Stock bushings vs Energy Suspension 3-3136 kit.

Only thing I had to fit.

Three straight hits and they went in.

These have a ring for the OD, on the right.

I don't know why the gloss black turned gray.

Money is tight, times are hard, lets do mods that make us look like a retard

Very nice, I did the same thing but with one step further into ghettoriffic.
I dont have a welder so I just put some bolts through the holes in the arms.
Then I threaded a nut on the inside of the arm holding it to the metal and another one on the outside. That prolly doesnt make any sense, but Im not very good at describing things. Anyways, I also replaced the crappy stock bushings with some moog pieces.
The car felt so much better afterwards. I was getting some wheel hop under acceleration before, afterwards they just spun, lol.
