I had problems as well, a couple of buddies and I ended up pulling all lines out of the car and they did the flaring at work. I don't know how people do/did this with them in the car.... not easy to accomplish IMO.

If the engine in the car, installing the kit leaving the stock braided lines is easiest. Removing the braided lines can be beneficial. If you're removing the braided lines, you can drop the lines off the frame rail and cut them below it instead of up above in the engine bay.

Don't get me wrong, the kit is nice.....just had problems with the flaring tool and some not so perfect flares. It all worked out in the end...a little more work than anticipated.....that's all. I must add the guys that helped me out did an outstanding job with it.

if any of you need a full set of stock replacement lines, pm me they are untouched and not bent from the stock bends, i pulled all of mine out, i did the abs delete and just used all new 3/16 sae lines front to back with adaptors (3/8-24 to 3 AN).... only spent about $70 for all of it
