When does the stock Torque arm fail w/m6 = Drag use
What hp level, 60ft times, and et was everyone running when they have had a torque arm fail/bend on them. The reason I ask, is that I want to go mid 11's at the track with a 1.7X 60ft time on slicks and I'm not sure my stock TArm will hold.
Thanks
Andy

Re: When does the stock Torque arm fail w/m6 = Drag use
I'm running low 1.5 60's and low 11.20's with my stock torque arm. no problems yet. I do have a BMR in my garage though.

I've seen a broken stock torque arm on a car running et streets and high 12 second 1/4 mile. I'd say if you're in that area, I'd look seriously into at least the Edelbrock torque arm.
