Default advantages of rod end over poly ended PHB

Just wondering what are the advantages of having rod ends instead of poly ends on a PHB. Is it so noticeable to spend the extra money. I have an opportunity to get a poly ended on car adj. phb for $80 so I am trying to determine if it were better to spend the extra $60 for rod ends?

Thanks in advance
