Default How much lighter is a Tubular K member

Just wanted to know if anyone had this info. I tried searching but didn't get the info that I was looking for. Does anyone have the weight of the complete stock k member with arms compared to the tubular BMR set up?

THanks for any info that anyone may have.

BMR has it on their web site. I think it's a 25# savings on the K-member and another 10#'s on the A-Arms.

Ok thanks. I don't know where I heard that it was like 60 or 70 pounds or something like that. Hell after all that work I did to swap k members I don't know if 30 pounds was worth it. LOL

I hope so. I just read that it should be like a 42lbs difference with the K member and the upper and lower A arms.

That makes me feel a lot better hearing all of this, and yes I can tell it makes working on the car way easier. Thanks for all that replied.

Hello
If you did a complete upgrade with Upper and Lower A arms using a UMI Performance K Member you would save a total of 33lbs and if you went with chrome moly a arms it would save you a total of 35.5. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

Thanks 69_Yenko for posting the weights. The BMR k member in the picture is our older design. The newer design is 1.5 lbs lighter than the one pictured. If you add our a arms to it that drops another 10 lbs. for a total weight savings of 41.5 lbs. over stock. Don't forget this k member is very streetable and can withstand the abuse of daily driving as well as all different types of track abuse.
