Default setting used qa1's

I picked up a set of used qa1's form a local guy. he says " I think the fronts are at 4 and rear at 5" how do I really know? I know I should just drive it and mess with it. however I'm near the end of a 76mm turbo build. I was hoping to set them at say 6/6 and then dial it in as needed. I was thinking I would just turn it one way 12 clicks and then I should be maxed either way. not sure if I go 12 one way and I'm already at say 4, that I'll be at 4 still or will it max out when it hits the 1/12 setting?

thanks

When you turn the **** all the way left (toward the minus sign, counterclockwise) that is 1. As you turn it right you will feel the clicks. You will have 12 to the right after you are all the way at the left. I keep my rears on 5 for street driving.

IMO, for the street try 2 clicks in the rear, and 5 clicks up front sounds about right.

yeah I knida figured that part, I'm bad at explaining things so...

what I mean is how do I know when I'm at 1. I felt the clicks the other day so I know what to look for there. when I get to 1 will it stop moving in that direction? or will it go to setting 12 once I pass 1. hope that makes sense it's kinda early.
