Seriously dude there are sponsors of this board who are active members of this forum. You'd be much better served by one of them. Please support those who support us.

This is one of those instances where you get what you pay for..... that Jeg's torque arm is $304 + shipping.

Spend a little extra and get a good brand.

ls1speed.com has UMI tunnel mounted arms for $368 shipped. Transmission mounted ones for $274 shipped.

Also, they would be easier to install than ripping out your interior and drilling a billion little holes to bolt up that Jeg's arm.

he didn't ask for a plug for a sponsor, he asked for advice on a product

the shorter tq arm design is more oriented for drag racing, and shocks the tires more when launching IIRC, that is the verdict with the drag guys i know

I've used it on my old '95z28 (383cu.in/6spd) years ago. It serves it's purpose very well, but for a street daily driven car... it's noisy and you'd feel every freaking bumps and vibration from the road since it is directly attached in the transmission tunnel. I was running 315/35/17's BFgoodridge drag radials and was consistently in the 1.7's 60ft. I'm sure it would have gone in the 1.60's if I had more suspension mods along with some drag lite wheels all around and ofcourse, a taller profile tires.

Thumbs up Torque Arm suggestion!

Hello
I noticed that you are interested in a aftermarket Torque Arm! Well I just figured that I would throw this out there for you that we have a few to choose from weather a stock length adjustable or a tunnel mounted adjustable. Below is a link to show you what we have to offer. And if you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help!

Thanks Again
Brad
