Default Kyb gr-2 premium shocks and struts

Im putting eibach pro spring kit just wondering if these shocks and struts would be ok. I kyb agx are way better but this is alot cheaper and i dont race the care its just a weekend driver.

NO. Definitely not! GR-2 are for a Grand Am, not a Camaro. Not even for a stock-height Camaro. They are the reason people call KYB "Keeps You Bouncin'"

Also, those springs suck. Please consider a better spring like Strano, Hotchkis, or pretty much any other spring ever made.

for a daily driver those springs and shocks are fine. those are what i have on and i have no complaints. actually i asked this exact same question about a year ago and got no answer.

in retro-spec i do wish i had spent the extra money on strano or koni, but since i just dd my car right now it's not a problem. if you have the money to blow: spend it on a better set-up. if not try and at least buy a better strut/shock.

Well i just order the kyb agx adjustable struts and shocks. What do you think about those

the AGXs are definitely better than the GR2s, i still would have gone with a better quality brand than KYB if i new what i do now. consider it a lesson learned and when it's time to replace those shocks get a better set.

I would have but its just a weekend car and there is some other stuff i want to do to. So i didnt want to end up spending close to a grand on suspension.

i hear ya, no reason to spend a **** ton of money if you don't need to. just FYI, there are better parts that won't empty your wallet
