yeah, the adapter isn't strong enough to actually bend a wheel. and i've put them on as tight as i could before. i really need to see pictures of this. the fingers start to bend under the pressure.

I was hoping I would not have to put on my old wheel set to take it in so my nice wheels are not on the car during the alignment.

shouldn't have to. you can always drive to florida and i can do the alignment.
