Default People with DMS/Koni Come in!!!

I just installed DMS springs on my car and love the stance. I want to know what you have your koni's set? I am going to purchase a set and don't know what to set the koni's firmness too. Also how is your ride after the springs. I am on stock DeCarbons with 75K miles. The ride is ok now but I know that the shocks will where out quick. I want a nice firm ride, sometimes I drive for some distance in the car and it is also a daily driver. Just looking for some input from the people that have that setup.

Yes I know, I will purchasing some from Sam. How was the difference from stock shocks to koni's? Is your ride nice I will be driving the car probally from Texas to Michigan ever once and a while. I will do a search but I haven't seen much on the DMS/Koni combo. Thanks for the input though.

Research.....

I dont know if all the rates here are accurate...

Keep in mind progressive springs are going to be trial and error, because you can never tell what the accurate starting rate is and or ends at...if I dont make sense, read up on progressive vs. linear.

Where did you pick up the DMS springs? I was under the impression the company was no longer around.
By the way, I have the DMS springs with Bilstein HD shocks on my '02 SS, ride is very firm and solid handling.

OK I purchased them used on the board. I held out for a long time to get a set of these springs because I really like the stance of the springs. I will definally be purchasing a set of koni's. I need a nice ride when I am daily driving and a good handling car when I need it to handle also. Thanks for the input guys. Please leave more on the result from this combo. Thanks Trevor

He can ask. Just has to understand I can't give away setup information to just anyone who asks because they ask.

Setup information, and better yet, and explanation of how the damping works and effects the car is included with a set of shocks bought from me. You can get the Koni's a lot of places--but not the answers to your questions.

The Koni Sale is still on.... We have a lot of backorder and more added everyday. Koni has had trouble supplying enough shocks to keep up (and so far hasn't). We always get orders filled, but we do have to wait a while. The quickest way to get Koni's is to get them on backorder ASAP so they can ship to you just as soon as they arrive from Holland.
