Default Strano Springs Clearance Question ...

For all of you w/Strano Springs:

I'm sold on the ride feel of these springs, so let's get that out of the question.

I had a Pro-Kit on my car, and after about a year I had to put the stock springs back in the rear b/c of the sagging and scraping (I have Pacesetter LTs and Y-pipe).

I'm curious if anyone w/LTs and Strano Springs has pics of how much clearance they have under their y-pipe, or if you could just tell me if you have had any issues w/speed bumps or pot holes or anything for that matter.

Thanks!

ps. I have a set of re-valve Bilsteins for shocks.

Not pot holes, but decently large speed bumps can cause me to scrape slightly if I'm not careful over them. I have kooks with catted Y

Off the top of my head I believe I have 3.5" of ground clearance at the cat on my Strano setup. You would probably have more if using an ORY.

To this date I don't think I've ever had a problem with clearance on roads or speed bumps. As with any lowered ride you still need to be smart with the angles you take.

I have Strano Springs with the KYB's as well as Pacesetter Headers and a LT ORY, I love the stance and feel of the setup and I can juuuuust put a Coke can under the Y-pipe.

Hope this helps.

good good ... I had A LOT OF PROBLEMS w/eibachs, I kept hitting the bump stops and couldn't go up any driveways, so the next springs I get I want to make sure they won't have the same issues (at least not as badly).

I have no issues at all. I went from goldlines in the front, and pro-kit in the rear...(Scraped on 90% of speed bumps) To these stranos. I haven't scraped on a speed bump yet, and its been a few months already.
