Need pics of your koni 4/4's and strano springs
I put my fronts on today and got some clunking going over bumps, so tomorrow I am going to take them back out and make sure I tighten the top nut all the way. I just wanted to make sure I put it all together the right way. I used the lower spring perch from my stock shocks, then the spring, then the washer, then the stock top rubber perch, and then tighten it all down. Please let me know if I did anything wrong.

Definitely call Sam Strano if you bought the stuff from him, he's very helpful. But from what little info I heard:
I strongly urge you NOT to run your strano springs on the lower perch!!! It can cause internal damage to the shock, and you don't want that. Also, why didn't your koni's come supplied with the perch? IE, why did you need to swap your stock ones over? Technically all you should need to do to swap em over once you remove the shock/spring assembly is compress the stock spring, take the nut off the top of the shock, release the spring. Then take the stock hardware (not anything from the stock spring or shock, just the shock mount) and reverse order the bitch.
Now I did see you used the washer which is good, but I think your clunking issue lies in how you reassembled the spring. Did you make sure to compress the strano spring then bolt it to the shock with the nut? Or did you simply take an impact gun and torque the nut down? A shop did the latter to my buddies set. Remember that one tiny nut isn't designed to compress a 275 lb/in (correct me if Im wrong Sam) spring.
Hopefully this helps, and again, if you bought them from Sam definitely give him a call.

Koni's come with a new lower spring perch, so I'm not sure why you used the stock one again? Maybe you are calling the lower isolator that sits on the perch the perch? You do need to reuse that.
You best make sure the perch is positioned in the upper of the two settings with the lowering springs.
And a clunk is 99% of the time a loose upper mount. It's adviseable to compress even lowering springs to make sure you get the nut tight which you cannot do if the spring is not allowing the mount to drop the whole way down. Feels tight, but isn't. Get the nut snugged down (33 ft/lbs. fwiw) and then release the spring.
You best make sure the perch is positioned in the upper of the two settings with the lowering springs.

Sorry for the wrong terms. Yes I ment the isolator not the perch and I believe I am on the upper perch. There is an indention under the perch still. And yes I bought a torque wrench just for these.
