Where to put poly bushings and mounts?

Where to put poly bushings and mounts? Ok I have read and people have different opinions on where to put poly, rod, and rubber mounts. I want someone to straighten this out and tell me for sure where less deflection is good and rubber would be better. Obviously the drag race guys will have as much tubular suspension they can afford but I'm talking us regular drivers who drive our cars daily and want comfort. So where is poly and rod good as compared to rubber?
