Koni Sale & backorder status

Koni Sale & backorder status I was informed today that we have more orders place for Koni's than are arriving on the Jun 8th shipment. Some 11 sets of fronts will be sent on that shipment. The orders will be filled in order of when they were placed. Remaining backorders will be filled ASAP when more shocks arrive.
Right now what's happening is this: Some fronts due on/around June 8th, the next batch due July 7th (I know, I don't do the importing, just updating you all on the news). Rear shocks: 4th gen rears will be arriving on/around June 23rd. 3rd gen rears are in stock.
This is why I have been encouraging folks to get their orders in sooner than later. Koni has not been able to keep up with demand and in fact are falling further behind. Don't wait if you want a set, the sooner we have them on order, the sooner we can get them for you!!!!
And please before anyone blows my phone up wanting to know who'll be getting the 11 sets, I don't know at this time. Orders are at the Koni warehouse and I'll have to make some calls to find out.
I'm personally sorry that Koni cannot keep up. But it's nothing I have control over, and I'm doing the best I can.
As a backup, we can do Koni DA's (available) and I do have some KYB AGX's and Strano Spec Bilstein's in stock for those that can't wait until the Koni's show up. And if you have an order in for Koni's and want to change we can swap the order over and you will get a credit for the difference if you opt for AGX or Bilstein, or we'll run the balance for the DA's if you go that way.

I am also hoping to be one of the 11 but am guessing probably not since I just placed my order earlier this week. I am definitely waiting for the Konis and not a lesser shock though. Maybe this gives me time to get my Y-pipe fixed so I can run Sam's springs too!

question for you Sam. If the purchase is placed prior to 6/30 and shipped after the 30th do you still get the lower pricing? I figured I'd ask for those that are scrambling to get the cash up. Not too concerned when I get them just want to get them.

Sale pricing will be honored on orders placed before the end regardless of when the shocks acutally ship. There is one exception to this rule. I can only honor sale pricing on sets of shocks *I* have ordered before the end of the sale. There is a few days of lag time while I keep track of what's on order with me vs. what I have on order with Koni.
The long and short of it is this? Officially the Koni sale runs though (edit: Through 5pm EASTERN TIME) 6/30, meaning Koni will no longer allow me to sell @ sale pricing on 7/1. I recommend that you don't wait until the last minute. Too many folks do, that creates a last minute run that I can't anticipate and we could run short of sale price available shocks before the 30th. I'll try to insure that does not happen, but I can't control what Koni has in the pipeline.
*PLEASE* consider this when getting ready to place your orders.

So do the lucky 11 know who you are yet?
...I placed my order on May 12th and I emailed Sam last week and he said I probably will not be among the 11...
I ordered the 4/3 set-up and my rears came within a week of my order

In reality, I don't have the time to see who the "lucky 11" are. Checking does not change the order or the fact that most folks at this time are waiting on the July batch. I'm not trying to be a hard-***, just telling it like it is. 
The oldest orders will get their shocks first. Frankly it'd take me a good 30 minutes to find out who those folks are because the orders are already submitted on my end as well and seeing as I can't magically make Koni's appear I don't really see the reason to do that when I'm constantly behind in my everyday work. Don't get me wrong, I know that you guys are like kids waiting for Santa.
I have implored folks time and time again that eariler orders get in line first. There have been shocks around since the sale started, waiting for customers. Lately, as the sale comes winding down there is a run on them, which I expected. Apparently Koni did not.
As for THoR294, you will actually get your springs first looking at the current ETA's on shocks and spring arrivals.

! I am going on vacation july 11th, I guess ill be goin down with blown front struts!! haha
