Thanks for the reply and pic. Wonder why on the LT1 the hard line loops around all stupid like. I suppose kore3 can make a 90° toward that end for me. What's the overall length of the braided line? 17.5 inches?

When i did the ats conversion on my 95. I used c5 stainless lines. They fit fine on both ends. I bent the hard line on the chassis have the line for easier. Just bend it slow with it off the bracket and it will be fine.

Anyone used CTS-V rotors?... they are 6 lug but seem to be correct in every other way, fronts are same dimensions as 5th gen SS rotors except the center bore and lug pattern... BUT the center bore works with our cars as it is, the CTS-V of certain years retains the larger 4th gen/vette center bore.

I'd rather drill the lug holes than mess with the center bore, as i can do that myself, no machine shop needed.

The rears are almost identical to 5th gen SS also, 2mm difference in hat height which should be easy enough to make up for or run as is.

Havent done the conversion yet but bought the discs, heres the part numbers and specs...

Why would you even spend time to redrill holes in a brake rotor? Just use one that fits, there's loads of options and suppliers, there certainly must be a rotor that works. You might also have a problem that 2 of your lug holes overlap/touch each other.

Im using the 5th gen SS calipers front and rear. As far as I can tell, the vette (front) and 5th gen camaro rotors (front and rear) are the only ones mentioned here that people use.

Both need mods.... the 5th gen rotors need the center bore opened up.

The front corvette rotor some people use has a different hat height and needs spacers on the caliper, which puts the caliper closer to the wheel.

To open the center bore on the 5th gen rotors to fit 4th gens, would cost me more than the rotors cost to get that done, and theres a chance the machine shop wont get it right.

The disc being properly centered on the hub is the most important part, so im using the CTS-V rotors that have the exact same center bore as 4th gen.

The lug pattern being perfect is not a big deal, but the center bore being off is. I wouldnt want my rotors not turning true.

Figured the info might be useful for some who dont have access to a reasonably priced machine shop to open up the 5th gen rotors.

Got a set of ctsv gen 2 brake calipers I'm gonna install but I'm considering going manual brakes. Any body gone that route?

Anyone have the part number for the bolt that holds the brake line to the ATS caliper?
