stock torque arm

stock torque arm i am planing on getting a torque arm sometime this summer but for now i was thinking of welding a few reinforcements to the stock one does anyone think this might help. im not looking to make the stock one bullet proof or anything and im not expecting much improvement. im just board and thought about trying it.
Personally, I wouldn't bother, unless A) you're making a TON of power and have an equal amount of grip, or B) you've altered the ride height and want to adjust your pinion angle.

i am trying to get rid of the rear end twist i am getting when i slam second gear i can just feel it try to rotate under me. i am just looking for a temperary fix. and i have time and access to matearials. so i just wondered what others thought. and i am not making it adjustable.

Another suggestion for you would be a set of lower control arms! Seeing how the stockers are just a stamped piece you are possibly feeling a lot of the flexing going on and the bad bushings. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer.

I would just suggest just checking out the bushing just to make sure that your stock torque arm did not cut through it! They have been known to do that! And hopefully the torque arm mount on the rear of the transmission (clam shell) is not broken. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
