Default What is the ultimate suspension setup?

I looking for advice on the ultimate suspension setup guys. What do you recommend for my car? Here are my requirements for suspension:

-Needs to be 2+ inches lower than stock

-I want my car to ride like a Cadillac

-Need something that can road race competitively

-Need something that can autox competitively at a national level and to pax better than Sam Strano's times

-Need to be able to drag race competitively in the single digits

-Need to be able to pull wheelies on the highway while going 50 mph

-Need something that will be able to smoke Civics on the street going 150+ mph

I can't make sacrifices on any of these requirements. What do you guys recommend?

Wow you do a lot of reading on the forums don't you!........ If you are looking for a car to do all of the above. I would sell the car you have now and buy a 1989 Geo Metro.
Thanks
Brad

i would defiantly go with the metro, but the 1988 have better twin-disk sway bars, so get that year

You forgot that it must cost less than $200 because anything more for shocks and springs is just stupid.

Excuse me while I get back to installing my GMMG cat back and polishing my 19" Fikse wheels....

Don't listen to these dumbasses...all you need is the right set of flat washers.

If that's too simple, follow this recipe:
1. Monroe sensatrac or QA1 shocks
2. Eibach springs, cut down two coils
3. SFC's and STB
4. LCA relo brackets
5. Solid motor and tranny mounts
6. Adjust tires - 20psi for drag, 45psi for roadracing

Should be the RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!

I don't know.. I'd get 2+ inches, but I'm a little worried about the caddy ride quality. I doubt those will help. Welded relos would be good because you can quickly swap between the upper and lower holes. That would actually work well. I'd have to get an adjustable coilover setup and swap springs realistically. Not sure how this would work with a wheelie mobile though...

Actually, there is something that will fulfill ALL of those requirements (except the "Cadillac" one): Hyabusa.

I think that will fail the caddillac ride and autox competition. Good luck controlling an LS7 Miata around the tight turns

Don't forget: The setup must be extremely quiet and also not scrape on any speedbumps no matter what.

Then just get the QA1s, they're adjustable so you can make them soft for the caddy-ish ride/launching or hard for handling. Besides, with the flatwashers, you have infinite adjustability. For wheelies, just go full soft on the rears...

(To really poke fun properly, I'd have misspell or misuse at least 3 words per sentence. I can play satire but I just couldn't make myself type ignorantly)
