Default Rear brake help

I have stock 98 brake rotors and pads, don't know when they were changed last-but they are squealing something awful. I want to get new rotors and pads, but not sure where or the brand. Should I just go to advance and get stock stuff or go with something else? I want them to last a long time and I barely use the brakes. I also need a writeup and have searched several sites and not gotten a good one. I will be doing this myself in my garage. So any tips would be great. Sam has advised me towards ATE rotors and HAWK pads. How mush better would this be from stock and would it last longer? I don't care about how much dust it puts off. Thanks.

Ok, so get those for the rear and some fluid from him at the same time? Anybody know where I would get stock replacements if I went that route? Or have other suggestions?

I am also now looking at the ATE super blue racing brake fluid. It comes in 1 liter bottles, how many do I need. Will I need more when I do the front rotors and pads later? It will still be a while since they were replaced last year.

Don't waste your money on things you don't need. Racing brake fluid is intended for exactly that, road racing. It's probably not compatible with what's already in your car. Any cheap DOT 3 brake fluid will work great.

Features/Benefits of ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid:

Blue tint of fluid makes bleeding brakes easier
Ideal for race and road use, excellent choice for street driven vehicles.

Boiling point minimum: 536 degrees F
Wet boiling point minimum: 388 degrees F
Designed to last up to 3 years under normal highway driving conditions

Thats a quote from Sam's site, I think it should work just fine since my 98 is the dd.

well considering your fronts do most of the braking, going with hawk in the rear wouldnt be TONS better but id say a nice improvement... if you want TONS better, get front HAWKS

If you have your rear rotors replaced, be sure to have your parking brake adjusted to your new drums. (Bored in to the inside of the rotor.)

And the Hawks will perform well with a stock replacement rotor up there?
