Angry Wheel hop

Best way to get rid of the wheel hop. I have the stock rear-end and shocks and springs, and want to know which shocks I should use to eliminate the wheel hop. I'm not going to be on the strip much, it's a daily driver but every now and then I have to show those mustangs and ricers what's up.

I'd have to say upgrade your torque arm. I haven't gotten this far yet but it does help from what I hear. You could always throw a lower set of gears in there that way it'll just spin the tires haha. I have no wheel hop at all. It's either traction (under half throttle) or no traction

Do the LCA relocation brackets with some new boxed style LCAs. Mine hasn't had a problem since I put those items on.

Hello
I noticed that you are having wheel hoping issues. And I just wanted to suggest going with a new set of lower control arms and a set of lower control arm relocation brackets. The lower control arms will replace a the factory stamped pieces and and the relocation brackets will allow you to apply the power to the ground. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has too offer.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

Hello, the best thing to do to eliminate wheel hop is lca's and relocation brackets. These items will stop the hop. Here is a link to what we have to offer.

I use to get wheel hop, I did have stiff lowered rear suspension.. Got some dampening rear shocks and like magic the wheel hop vanished.. Smoothe burnouts now...

How many miles are on the factory shocks?

This is the first item I would recommend looking at then possibly what kind of condition the bushings are in the lower control arms and so on...

lower control arms will stop it. I had wheel hop and did nothing but add the BMR lower control arms and hop was gone. Stockers are too flimsy. I got 60,000 miles on my BMRs so far and they still function like new.....i like that they have grease fittings as well
