what materials did you use ? angle iron or just regular steel cause my car is not so much with the wheel hop just when doing a burnout my rear slams into my bump stops....i think its from all that flex of everything ....let me know what type of stuff you used cause i am down to do mine!!!!!!GREAT WORK LOOKS AWESOME!!!!

good work...just remember poly will make those LCAs and PHB bind in fast transitions, like AX or RR. Probably works really well for drag though! ![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)
just an observation, but if you were seeing wheel hop on street tires, On street tires I doubt you have enough grip to actually flex the LCAs....however bushings were probably deflecting alot.
you wont fully know how well the boxed LCAs work until you get sticker tires.
With the streets a simple bushing change would of netted you the same results. Does it help you did all the work, well hell yes of course!
Again just my 2 cents.

Anyone want to explain this to me. Why would any kind of panhard bar for that matter have an effect on breaking a 10 bolt? Even though I am only using mine for gear testing right now I run the *** off my 10 bolt and have Burkhardt 4340 lca's and panhard. Something that corrects geometry and eliminates deflection allowed by stock stamped parts doesn't increase component failure.
the guy that made that statment really didnt know what he was talking about i guess

well when we took off the stock bushings they dam near came out by themselves... and i could twist the panhard bar and lower control arm just with my hands.. after the plates were installed it fixed all that..
Hey man, I'm with you I will consider this if I ever get a welder or time to get a friend to do it. Kudos!

Dont neglect the fact you had new poly bushings, again I dont doubt this was a good helpful mod...., but without the proper tires, you wont know if this meets the strength of after market LCAs.

that job looks great man and I guarantee you that strengthened the **** out of those arms and panhard bar....I know from personal experience with putting in new bushings and boxing them..we had a car that was cutting 1.5x 60s on stock arms all day and then finally sold them to put in better arms. So dont let other haters tell you they wont work, there are people who ran this setup for very long time, its a old school trick that racers have been doing for years and it works

I agree, much better to pay the extra and buy quality aftermarket parts, and if shipping parts to the UK wasn't so expensive, I would of done so.
FWIW, when I replaced my stock bushings, they may have been old, but they were still in great condition, and I felt a nice differance with the poly installed.
Just trying to state that although some of the differance Highway felt might of been due to the fact that his stock bushings were shot, mine were not shot, and I thought it was worth the swap.
And I'm sure the welds from the boxing of them will hold even if/when tires are added. I'm definately going to box mine too.
So IMO, the poly is worth swapping, even if your bushings are in good condition, but I would of prefered to buy aftermarket parts all the same....
Just my 2 pence

You work on lowriders? This is what you do when you are running hydros.
I think you could just as easily find some tubing somewhere and make your own tubular adjustable or non adjustable LCA and PHB, But nice work. Glad to see you DIY instead of spend a ton.
You can box in the Ends that mount to the frame and rear, cut them off the stamped bar, weld in a tube.
