Default Where to start with stock suspension

Mods: Pt4400, headers, ls6 intake, p&p throttle body, no front sway bar 15" wheels with 26x10.5 mt ET streets at 14-15lbs. Best I can 60' is 1.69 letting it hit 2nd gear and driving away as far as I can during the burnout.

It doesnt blow the tires off but it chatters/vibrates/wheel hops however you want to describe it. Theres no point to add any more power untill I can dead hook what I have. I am on completely stock suspension, where do I start? I am thinking I need more weight transfer. Theres no reason these tires shouldnt hook up.

-Lca
-Torque arm
-Drag bar
-Front shocks

I cant afford all them at the same time so whats going to benefit me the most in order from most to least?

no not on a stock ride height, only on lowered cars. LCA and torque arm will help you a TON and panhard bar, which is cheap.. round $100,, not sure on drag bar i dont know much about those. I know someone will chime in tho.

You def should be hookin with those tires! Atleast do the LCA and Torque arm man

Hello
It doesn't really matter if the vehicle is a stock ride height or not. As long as the control arm is more parallel with the surface you are getting traction. I would suggest Lower Control Arms and Relocation Brackets. And then think about getting the torque arm off of the rear of the transmission. And then go with a set of springs/shocks (adjustable) to help transfer weight (such as a coil over). And below is a few links to show you what all UMI Performanc has to offer!

Thank you for the links. I will do Lca and relo brackets. I know the torque arm needs to come off the transmisson but is it really going to help hook better than a set of looser front shocks?

The control arm relocation brackets will also allow you to move the instant center of your car reward aiding in weight transfer. We offer a weld on and bolt on version. Another benefit to the torque arm relocation crossmember is in the front we have 7 adjustment holes that allow you to move the front of the torque arm up or down. This effects how hard the tires hit on launch. Its a great tuning aid. Here is alink to our site. If you have any questions please give me a call.

Hello
You are very welcome for the suggestions! The reason why I suggested the torque arm is so you can fine tune the rear by setting your instant center and your pinion angle. And when it comes to weight transfer it is not only the front shock it is also the front spring as well. A lot of the times I would suggest going with a coil over set up in the front with a 300lbs spring for the street and strip or just a 275lb spring just for the strip and a good adjustable rear shock as well. But in the end it is going to be your own personal preference on what you want to purchase first! Below is a link to show you what I am explaining.
