Default torque Arm

I have recently broke my 3rd tourqe arm..

Not schure exactly what the prob is..

I have broke the stock one
a edelbrock toque arm
and Last night Iam pretty schure I broke my
BMR heavy duty torque arm..

Not schure why this is happening

what is the strongest one on the market I have been hearing that the
BMR Extreme is the best I heard that it welds to your Sub frames?
Does any one no where I can pick one of these up from fast ?
Any prices on how much that it might cost?
And if any body is selling one let me no Iam in need of one..

Thank You
Frank

WHat kind of et, mph and 60 foot are you running? You seem to be breaking an impressive amount of hardware. This makes me wonder if there is not another problem (wheelhop maybe) that is shocking those parts hard enough to damage them? Any other info may be helpful? When do they break (launch?)? Etc....

The best I have ran the car is 12.5 at 115 mph
with a 1.936 60'
I really dont have wheel hop.
It broke this last time when I was driving down the road after I raced from a 30mph run..
Not schure what to do schould I go with the BMR extreme that welds to Sub Frames?

I have to agree with trackbird that you might have a problem other then the torque arm, what suspension mods do you have?

just a thought, w/ the lowering springs, could your pinion angle be off and be causing excess stress on the torque arm... have you ever checked your pinion angle?

bmr extreme will be noiseir due to the mounting method and cost you more to install (requires welding). The new spohn wich mounts to the standard tranny mount looks nice, but if your considering moving away from the tranny mount, why not look at spohn's other torque arm which mounts to the body instead also? and if you install an adjustable torque arm, you NEED to set the pinion angle before you start driving around on it (it's easy, just takes some patience and playing w/ a angle finder)

Well, to help muddy the waters even more ...

LGMotorsports is now selling their G2 unit at 25% off the advertised price.

You can get a new G2 unit for almost what your buddy wants for the Spohn used.

Go to www.spohn.net it's more like $575 if it's chromoly. You absolutely must adjust pinion angle!!!!!! That is most definitely your problem. I can't see any other way a lowered car running mid twelves could break one of those.

The new Spohn Arm comes with a an angle gauge so you can properly set it up! I believe this will be one of my next purchases.

Just my $.02, but I think you're doomed to break whatever you put in if you dont fix the reason that you keep breaking Torque arms. If you're breaking these things cutting 1.9 60' times at 115- there's most likely something misaligned / bad pinoin angle etc...
