Default LCA's and Relocation brackets.

I read a thread on here that talked about the the angle of the LCA's for
autocrossing verses drag racing. They said that they need to be as level as
possible for autocrossing.I have Koni sa's, lower perch/heater hose mod,(stock
springs)strano hollow sway bars,SFC's and A watts link.I do mostly canyon carving and a little street racing from a roll.

My question is:Since I have a Watts link do my LCA'S need to be more level?
They are higher under the axle than the frame side. Can it be adjusted with
with Re-location brackets?Does it matter with the watts link?Any thoughts on
this one?

Not sure if I'm reading it right, but the LCA's are higher on the axle than on the frame? That's not good, you're going to want to get LCA brackets to lower them to ATLEAST level, if not a hair under level.

Most LCA brackets have two or three sets of holes for minor adjusting.

Yes you can! The watts link and the LCA's control diff forces. Yes, It is prefered to have your LCA's level with the ground. need to be aware that installing LCA relocation brackets will bump you up a class in most autocross org's.

Thumbs up Just a few suggestions!

Hello
There are so many different factors that can play into this! Such as HP levels, Weight Transfer, And what is done to the vehicle already. That is why we always suggest for street use the lowest setting. And of race cars to try both settings and see what your suspension set up likes better. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

Has anybody used the re-location brackets on a car with a Watts Link? Before I get the brackets and take the car apart I would like to know if anyone has done this.

Having a Watts link has no bearing on whether or not you should run LCA brackets. Completely different things....

It will work fine if you want/need to run brackets with the Watts. I'd be happy to supply them if you need 'em. Again, these are completely separate parts. Watts link controls lateral forces. The LCA's allow the arms to be moved down, changing the instant center of the car and the straight line bite, as well as the roll steer.

Can you install the relocation brackets with non adjustable LCA's or do you need the adjustable LCA's.

You can install brackets with non-adjustable arms if you wish. I usually recommend adjustables though, because it's not often you find a car that has perfect axle alignment to start with, and it can change a little bit with the brackets as well.
