I have noticed everybody recommends Strange coilovers over QA1 for street/strip use, drag racing. Why is that?

Its mainly because the Strange shocks are a little less expensive than the QA1 and they don't need to be rebuilt as often. If you have any other questions just let me know.

We've had good luck with both, but yeah, the Strange's are a little cheaper. With AFCO's new pricing, they are about the same as QA1's now and are NICE.

What kind of adjustments do strange have ( if they are adjustale )? How would you rate Strange, AFCO, QA1 on the build quality scale in order?

The single adjustable Stranges adjust the rebound or extension and the double adjust both rebound and compression. As far as the build qwuality goes Afco is the best followed by Strange then QA1. Hope that answered your question.

It seems like QA1's don't really have any benefit over other options. Hence, I take what people say with a grain of salt, but seems like the price of QA1's doesn't make much sense compared to other options.

exactly that... QA1 has been on the f-body market for a long time, Strange and AFCO got in a bit later. the AFCO and Strange shocks are now the most popular, have the best reputation, the best quality... and they are both made here in the USA... QA1 cant say that. I am direct with both of them and offer great prices on any suspension parts you need. pm me for a quote.
