Default groove marks in rotor

My right rear brake rotor has grinded groove marks in them and makes a high pitched noise like somethings rubbing. I just got new rotors and pads I was going to put this weekend and now this noise started happening 2 days ago. Should I be worried I'll need to do more than just pads and rotors?

Yup, you're into the metal backing on that corner. Plan on a new rotor.
