Default Bleeder Screws

i bought some speed bleeder screws for the front calipers for my car from napa. i noticed that these new screws are shorter than the stock ones. the things worked well, but when i tightened them down pretty tight they were still releasing the fluid.

am i doing something wrong?

If they are still releasing fluid, then they are the wrong ones.

Regular replacements should look almost identical to the stock ones. You can buy OEM ones from the dealership for not much more than aftermarket at a parts store.

As far as speed bleeders, I've heard mixed stories about them and have been told to avoid them.

I've been in auto parts for 20 years, and unfortunately, this is part of the game.

We all have to pay the bill for morons that are to cheap to buy a $.50 clip.

If you have a Lee auto parts store near you go there. I just went through this and they had the correct bleeders. They were buried in a bulk pack though.

in my area we've got just about every parts store but Lee, and none of them have a listing.

any ideas on where to order them from online?
