I'm awaiting a new batch right now. I have your order, there is NO CHARGE until the bars are ready to ship (it will be a few weeks, they are in production).

If you have any questions, just give me a call!

Thank you.

How will larger sway bars affect drag strip performance?

One of these days I will get these swaybars.

A larger front bar somewhat negatively affects weight transfer. A larger than stock rear bar is a plus for drag strip performance. This has been answered many times before in other threads. The simple way around the front bar weight transfer effect is to just disconnect an endlink on the front bar or remove it altogether. If your car only sees drag racing you can run a massive rear swaybar like a BMR Extreme.

How do these bars compare to the stock WS6 bars (can you post "twist" rates)...?

What are their diameters vs stock WS6...?

(Are the stock WS6 bars any different than the stock TA or the SS bars...?)

Thanks always for your help.

Cheers
Joe

WS6/SS bars are hollow 32 front, solid 19 rear. Stock TA/Z28 are hollow30/solid 19.

Mine are both hollow, 35mm front, 22mm rear. Looking at about a 45% increase on the front bar vs. a 30mm and about 30% over a 32mm. The rear bar is also about 33% stiffer than a solid 19mm

Well, if someone is dead set on a drag bar... I'd recommend a UMI instead.

Or, running one of out adjustables. I have a 22mm that is 3-way adjustable. But there is also a 1" 3 way adjustable as well which can be made to act even stiffer. And I also have the Hotchkis 24mm 3-way adjustable as well. At least with those bars you retain some balance while being able to stiffen up for the strip if you need to.

Note a 1" bar is too big for handling purposes but is way better than a massive drag bar that's just always super stiff.

I went to Sam's website to place an order for the 35/22 hollow bars, but the checkout wasn't working, so I called Sam...

I asked him a few questions regarding the bars (and my spring/Koni parts previously purchased from him)...

He was friendly/polite/professional, answered all my questions, gave me technical/install info, and placed my order...

Very easy/simple/good shopping experience, Thanks...

Regards,
Joe

About 6 pounds lighter than a GM 21mm solid, and they come with all new bushings and hardware too. Black Powdercoat too.

I just ran the Strano bars at the autcross today and they are awesome! The car felt much more stable in the sweepers and slalom.... Konis to follow in the near future....
