Strano Sway Bars: New lower pricing
I've hit a new quantity discount threshold which has allowed the pricing to come down a bit. I'm passing the savings along to you!
A reminder about what sets Strano Performance Parts apart from the others. We are about making cars turn and have the Championships to prove it. These bars are build to my specification. They are the lightest set of bars avaiable for the car, and the best balanced for stability and control. After all, why would I want to drive on something that doesn't work? That's why these bars were built--to address performance and weight issues other bars have.
Also we have specific bends on the front bar to insure we clear convertible K-member tabs (most bars do not, and many companies are not aware that convertibles have extra tabs for bracing to attach). Most aftermarket bars hit this @ full compression. And we use super tough hardware, and not off the shelf parts that are cheaper to supply.
Strano Hollow bar set:
Was $429, now $389.98 http://stranoparts.com/partdetails.p...=126&ModelID=7

How many more benefits would you like? The weight savings vs. solid bars is significant. The front bar alone is over 15 pounds, and it's over 20 for the pair. You find me any other item you can save that kind of weight with for so little price difference. You can't. CM parts vs. mild steel parts are nowhere near that different in weight, even when used on something big like SFC's, and that's a $100 premium! Think about what light wheels cost.... What about a carbon fiber hood? You get my point?
They are easier to put on since they are less cumbersome--weighing less.
The hardware is IMO better than what is the standard.
And fwiw, most folks don't know the stock front bars (on most all GM products) are already hollow--so a solid bar is not only heavier than mine, it's a lot heavier than stock. A hollow front bar keeps weight gains down. In fact

I was just wondering, Im still learning about suspension setups. Most guys around here are all about drag racing, but I want my car to handle like its on rails.

Strano Performance bars are black only.... I have UMI bars, which are solid if you just have to have red instead. But I'm more function over form and black is the overwhelming choice for most folks, and it's how I keep the costs down to what they are as hollow bars are more costly to make than solid bars. More time and better machines are needed to do it well.
If you compare my bars to Hotchkis, which is the only other set of front and rear hollow (but their rear bar, and in fact all 1" rear bars are IMHO too big). Strano bars about $100+ less per set (and Hotchkis only come in black as well).

Well, I'm your guy... I'm also about handling -- both around corners and at speed on open stretches too.

Hopefully for a while--until what it costs me goes back up (and as most things that will happen at some point). Costs change due to many things, shipping, material steel, cost of coating, etc.
I can't tell you it's forever, can't even tell you it's set for 3 months. I can tell you that's the price at this time.

Stock front bars are already hollow. Mine front bar is hollow, but larger 2-3 pounds more than a stock GM front). My rear bar is hollow, stock is SOLID. So we save about 5-7 back there. Some weight savings vs. stock bar sets, all of it on the rear where it's unsprung weight (doubly bad). You don't gain any weight with my bars, save a touch.
You SAVE the weight when you compare the bars to solid bars of similar (or even smaller, read less roll stiffness for the weight) sizes.

x2 on that. doesn't seem like a noteworthy benefit until you've experienced it. i installed a 32mm hollow bar by myself no problem. my UMI 35mm bar took 2 people, and my triceps were legitimately sore the next day.

I have to agree with that, I easily installed my Strano bars myself! Plus, they really are a top notch set of bars. I wouldn't roll anything else!
